Join the club! Every Tuesday the Scholastic Book club highlights a book of the week for ONLY $1 with free shipping to your childs shool.

This is a cheap tip that the whole family will enjoy. Books vary from picture books to chapter books. We all look forward to our stack of new books like it's Christmas!

First step: Create an account by linking to your childs teacher.

Second step: Every Tuesday login and check out the book of the week. The book will usually be highlighted in a banner on the main page, if not you can search "book of the week" in the search bar.

Third step: Add the book to your cart. You can save the book in your cart and it will stay at the $1 price no matter when you checkout. I like to add the $1 book every week and then once I get 4 more books, I will check out. Your order will then be shipped once your childs teacher submits the classroom order (sometimes you need to send an email to remind the teacher if they are not active on Scholastic) Next thing you know, your kid comes home with a pile of BRAND NEW books.
